Cardona’s Market 80th Anniversary Celebration

This year, Cardona’s Market celebrates 80 years as a family-owned business in the Capital Region. Since 1945, our Italian market and catering company has significantly grown from a small neighborhood “pork store” in downtown Albany to a multi-location business spanning three generations of ownership.

Italian Antipasto 101

Antipasto is a traditional Italian appetizer that serves as the first course of a formal Italian meal. The term "antipasto" literally means "before the meal" in Italian, indicating its purpose to stimulate the appetite before the main course.
